ORBX KMRY/KTVL Elevation Issues

Hello,

I have elevation issues at KMRY and KTVL, and after disabling FSAD the issue dissapears.

According to your Tech Toubleshooting guidelines, ORBX tool should solve it, but after trying several ways to manage the situation, no matter if i use ORBX AEC, the issue persist until FSAD is disabled.



I worked it out with ORBX tech and dev support, everything pointing to FSAD being the culprit.

Is there some way to disable KTVL / KMRY files so i get the elevation thing resolved somehow?

Hi,

I think you're suffering from a bug introduced in P3D 4.5.13 causing several elevation issues with 3rd party airports.

You may have a look here and try the tool Jose provided, this should solve the problem: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=443#p1684

P3D somehow changed priority regarding elevation handling. So FSAD will now reads all airport elevations and uses these "correct" elevations in the Navaid-files.

I read around that P3D 4.5 somehow prioritizes upper sceneries info over lower ones, so decided to try and move FSAD "4 entries" just below any other scenery in my P3D Scenery list, even below Orbx AEC. 

Voila!    Scenery working like a charm!     So lets kill the virus by flying a LOT! 

I will test your solution advice more in deep and update later...
