Hi all,
I just installed FSAerodata on a new PC, and it looks as though when enabling the FSAerodata cycle, the latest updates to the configuration tool do not add the scenery entries to the scenery library.
The entries do not appear in the scenery library, however when I attempted to add them via the add scenery method in the simulator, it said that an entry already existed for it... but it didn't. The proper scenery.cfg file to add to is the one found in programdata, and there were no FSAerodata entries present there. If they aren't there, they won't be in the scenery library.
I added the scenery entries manually to the programdata\lockheed martin\prepar 3DV4\scenery.cfg and they now appear in the scenery library at the top as they should.
Should not have to do this though as the configuration tool added them automatically in previous versions.
Hope this can be fixed soon.

Re: Possible bug with latest update to FSAerodata Configuration Tool
Thanks for the bug report. A new version is now available (1.04.2) that fixes the error where the add-on entry is not created.
To use the add-on format instead of the old scenery method, just remove the FSAD entries in scenery.cfg, and the tool will regenerate the add-on entry automatically.
Regards,

Interesting. I didn't even know the method changed. I was expecting scenery to be added.
Re: Possible bug with latest update to FSAerodata Configuration Tool
Do I remove all the scenery, including the navaids? I removed coms, approaches and sids etc from scenery.cfg but forgot to remove the navaids.
Do I remove all traces of FSAerodata scenery from scenery.cfg, open the configuration tool and re-enable?

Yes, remove any FSAD scenery entry(navaids, procedures, comms), open the config tool and re-enable the database.
